Honey
wax which is also known as "soft wax" is applied to the skin in a
thin layer. A muslin strip is then placed on top of the wax and it is then
promptly removed. This wax sticks to the hair and to a layer of dead skin. When
it is ripped off it also pulls at the skin. Some people think honey wax causes
a little more pain than hard wax because of this. But soft wax leaves you with
glowing and smooth skin.
Hard
wax which is also known as strip-less wax is applied to your skin and does not
need a regular strip to be pulled off. Once the wax dries and gets hardened on
its own, it can be separated easily and directly since it is not gummy or
sticky like soft wax. Hard wax sticks to the hair only, not the skin. This
means the wax can go over any particular area more than once, avoiding the
complications of severe burning or pulling the skin off with the wax. Hard wax
is also considered less painful as the wax does not tug at the skin when it is
being removed.
Threading
is an age-old procedure that uses knotted cotton thread to capture and remove
hairs from the root. It is a particularly good way to remove all facial hair
including eyebrows. It can remove even a single hair, no matter how thin or how
awkwardly it is positioned. It can cleanly and beautifully give shape to
eyebrows. It can also be used to remove hair from sideburns, the upper lip and
chin as well. Threading is soft on sensitive skin and the process is better
than tweezing. Threading is basically the best way to get rid of unwanted
eyebrow hair. It is more precise than waxing and produces less irritation.
